Boulder Pointe’s Junior Golf Program is focused on teaching juniors the important fundamentals of golf, as well as core values for all age groups, in a fun and energetic atmosphere. Golf is not only a great sport but an excellent opportunity to teach juniors the importance of honesty and integrity. Each session will be conducted by Rich Morgan, PGA Professional, and Eric Suran, Assistant Golf Professional
The main focus for Boulder Pointe’s Junior Golf Program is teaching juniors of all skill levels the basic mechanics of the golf swing, in a fun and relaxed environment. To ensure each participant has a great time, there will be multiple stations per day, where a game will be played devoted to the “day’s lesson”. Some of the games will include: chipping basket, chip-n-putt, 7-up, target-practice, and the sand pit. On the last day of the program there will be a small on course scramble tournament where each participant will be given a chance to play a few holes from the tee boxes that match their skill level. We strongly recommend having a parent/grandparent/chaperone with each child to enjoy the event with us. We will have a small social gathering afterward to cap the session. Each participant will receive a special gift.
Upon completion of the program, juniors will have the knowledge of important golf fundamentals that will help them grow as a player year after year. They will learn why it is important to be honest, respectful and generous on and off the golf course. And most importantly, they will have a great time. The junior clinics will be held on our practice facility or golf course if available.
