A Note From Joe Randa:

My mom, Donna Lexa, always had a passion to help people and a passion for the arts.  In 1985, she created Donna Lexa Community Art Center in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

We tragically lost my mom in a car accident in 1996.  With the support of the community, friends and family, the Art Center has kept her dream alive.

My mom was my number one fan and taught me to have a hard work ethic and passion for what I do.   These traits helped me achieve my dreams of becoming a professional baseball player with a 12-year career in the MLB.  Now, my dream is to keep her dream alive. 

I’m so grateful to everyone who has supported DLAC throughout the years and continues to do so today.  Let’s help more students achieve their dreams and see what is possible through the art process!
