Katie (Horvath) Roy Memorial Golf Outing

Please join us as we remember Katie (Horvath) Roy and keep her legacy alive by raising funds for the Katie (Horvath) Roy Scholarship Fund at Eastern Michigan University. 

Katie (Horvath) Roy passed away on December 12, 2016 after suffering an unexpected intracranial hemorrhage.  As a kindergarten teacher and dance instructor Katie devoted her 28 years to teaching and caring for others.  All proceeds from the event will go to the Scholarship Fund which provides support for early elementary teachers in the Eastern Michigan teaching program.

In addition to 18 holes of golf at the Fox Hills Classic course we will host a silent auction, various raffles, a long-drive competition and closest to the pin competition.    

WHO?:  Anyone who was lucky enough to enjoy Katie’s life – Family, friends, co-workers, students.  $125 per golfer

WHERE?: Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center – Classic

WHEN?: July 27, 2019 – Registration @ 8:00 AM, Shotgun Start @ 9:00 AM (Scramble Format)

WHY?:  To celebrate Katie’s life and help continue her legacy through the Katie (Horvath) Roy Scholarship Fund at Eastern Michigan University
