Support the St Louis Fisher House and enjoy a complete program of special events, 18 holes of golf (including cart) and an exciting food buffet.
Play is a scramble format. Skill prizes are available, as well as prizes for 1st and 2nd place in two flights. The tournament will be a shot gun start kicking off at 0900, with all golfers coming back together afterwards for recognition of the skill prize winners and the top teams.
Since opening in 2010, the St. Louis VA Medical Center’s Fisher House at Jefferson Barracks has been privileged to serve more than 3,250 families of Veterans and active-duty military personnel. Its 20 guest suites provide a free "home away from home" for the caregivers of Veterans and active-duty service members who have loved ones in area medical facilities.
The Fisher House provides caring, comfortable, and convenient lodging, food, essential sundries, and local transportation at no cost to the guests. For the families who have traveled far from home, this gives them and the patients greater peace of mind. They don’t have to worry about costly hotel stays and “big city” traffic. Spouses can be present, bedside, with their loved ones.
The St. Louis Fisher House provides a free "home away from home" enironment; offering a warm, caring, comfortable, and convenient lodging for family members and caregivers coming to the St. Louis area with their loved ones that are undergoing extensive treatment and/or rehabilitation.
