The main focus of Tanglewood's Junior Golf Clinics is teaching juniors of all skill levels the basic mechanics of the golf swing, in a fun and relaxed environment. Upon completion of the program, juniors will have the knowledge of important golf fundamentals that will help them grow as a player year after year. They will learn why it is important to be honest, respectful and generous on and off the golf course. And most importantly, they will have a great time.

2 LEVELS OF INSTRUCTION

PAR CLINIC

This clinic introduces younger golfers to essential fundamentals, including club types, tees, proper grip, and basic swing technique. Instruction will take place on the driving range and putting green. Each session includes lunch following the clinic, and the program concludes with an awards banquet on Wednesday at 11:00.

BIRDIE CLINIC

This clinic provides a mix of etiquette and skill-building instruction, giving students hands-on experience with hitting, chipping, and putting. From Monday through Thursday, participants will receive focused instruction on the range, followed by on-course play with instructors on Thursday. Junior golfers enrolled in this session should be comfortable playing independently for short periods while instructors rotate among groups. Each session includes lunch afterward and concludes with an awards banquet on Thursday at 11:00.
