Join us on the green in support of the Tenant Resource Center (TRC), a nonprofit organization that has defended housing as a human right in Dane County for 46 years. TRC strengthens housing stability in our communities by preventing evictions and educating and empowering individuals and families.
In 2025, TRC:
- Contacted every household with an eviction filed in Dane County to ensure they knew help was available.
- Assisted in 3,886 hearings and trials.
- Provided access to free legal representation for 304 households.
- Had more than 7,000 conversations with renters to make sure they understood their rights and felt empowered to act.
As a result, 75% of the households served by TRC or their legal partners had their eviction case dismissed.
